Discover the art and creativity of downtown Salina on a guided Mural Stroll! On Thursday, November 5, at 4 p.m., join Janet and Sheryl for an approximately 2-mile walk exploring murals and public art throughout downtown. Starting at the Meadowlark Mural on the south exterior wall of Martinelli’s Restaurant, the route includes artwork along 7th Street, the passageway to Ad Astra, murals on silos, and art tucked into alleys and plazas near Santa Fe Avenue.
The walk takes approximately 1 to 1¼ hours and follows city sidewalks and alleyways, including some narrow sidewalks and uneven surfaces. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Public parking is available on 7th Street between Mulberry and Walnut. Come enjoy a different perspective on downtown and discover the artwork that makes Salina unique!
